- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Juice of 1 lemon

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Water (to thin the sauce)

For Serving

- Pita bread or flatbreads

- Sliced tomatoes

- Sliced cucumbers

- Chopped lettuce

- Sliced red onions

Instructions

1. In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients – garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, yogurt, olive oil, and lemon juice.

6. Warm the pita or flatbreads.

7. Assemble your shawarma wraps by placing a generous amount of cooked chicken on each bread, and top with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, red onions, and fresh parsley.

8. Drizzle the tahini sauce over the top.
